Radiator Installation
About This Service
Radiator Installation Done Right
Every radiator installation starts with a free site survey and our three-step process. We check pipe routes, measure heat loss and advise on radiator type and position, then supply matching radiators and trims. Installation includes careful fitting, any required flushing and final balancing so every room heats evenly.

Our Process
How It Works
Free Site Survey
We assess room sizes, pipework, existing radiators and access, measure heat loss and suggest radiator types and trim options.
Supply & Preparation
We order radiators to match your system, check valves and pipework, and plan any flanking work such as minor pipe runs or flange replacement.
Fitting & Balancing
We fit radiators neatly, bleed and balance the system, perform any local flushing if needed and complete a final performance check.
Benefits
Why Choose us for Radiator Installation?
Gas Safe & OFTEC-Registered Engineers
All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe engineers and oil-related work by OFTEC technicians, giving safe, compliant installations.
Local, Tidy Workmanship
Oakham-based engineers who respect homes — we leave workspaces clean, use dust-sheets, and ensure pipework and trims look neat.
Balanced Heating, Real Comfort
We don’t just fit radiators — we flush where needed and balance the system so heat is distributed evenly throughout the house.
Supply and fitting tailored to your home. We install panel, column and designer radiators to suit Victorian terraces, modern townhouses and rural cottages around Oakham. That includes valve replacement, decorative trims and repositioning where pipework allows. We recommend radiator sizes based on room heat-loss and existing boiler capacity to avoid under- or over-sizing.
System hygiene and balancing for best performance. Install only is rarely enough — old systems can harbour sludge that reduces output. Where required we advise power flushing or local flushing and then balance radiators to match flow. All work is recorded and, where gas work is involved, completed to Gas Safe standards with paperwork provided.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Most standard radiator replacements or installs for a single room are completed in a half to full day, depending on access and any pipe modifications. Larger or multiple-radiator projects may take longer; we confirm a realistic timescale during the free survey.
